Q: Ehmm sorry, what is it about?
This trailer is the result of the lecture Animation in 2010 at Ulm University of Applied Sciences. Our simple task was to create a 10s to 20s short clip for a made-up tv show, with a free topic choice. We chose the topic „mobile media” including the sub topics mobile gaming, social media and networking. And voilá, ↗here it is.

Q: What makes it so special?
The clip is fully created and rendered in Cinema4d. We wanted to have the whole scenery in 3D to be able to capture it from perspectives hard to create with 2D tools. Rendering stuff in 3D also has the major advantage to set all the lights and reflections in a detail not possible with 2D tools. The whole lighting situation in the final clip is so unique and exciting. It creates a technical and modern look which matches the topic. In the end, there was no way besides using Adobe After Effects to add the final shine.

Q: Do you want to add anything?
First of all a big thanks to Corbinian Kling. He did a great job with his parts and especially with the music, which was created completely by himself. It was a pleasure to work with him!
